The Body Conditioning class is divided into three sections:

1. Exercises at the barre – warming the joints, involving the arms, legs, and head.

2. Floor work – stretching exercises for the back.

3. Centre work – movement exercises for the whole body while travelling across and around the room.

JOHN O'BRIEN

John O'Brien has taught at Pineapple since it opened on 1979 and has developed his own style Body Conditioning class, as well as being one of our well-respected Ballet teachers.

His classes are safe and suitable for students of all ages and the class has its roots in classical ballet whilst giving attendees a gentle but effective stretching and general conditioning workout.

To join in a class, you only need be ready 10 minutes before the class starts. If you have Pineapple membership, you do not need to pay at reception.
