Karen’s class is a fusion of old school and new school. Old school being jazz as seen on TV and stage (including lyrical and rock) and new school being mainstream street as seen in music videos.
Class begins with a warm up designed to increase flexibility and strength, then a routine with the music and style changing each week for variation.
Pure Technique is mainly a barre class with a little centre work. The class is a mixture of classical and contemporary techniques. The barre work is designed to increase strength and improve placement and balance. Turns are always practised in the centre to create confidence and improve skill. Open to all levels.

To join in a class, you only need be ready 10 minutes before the class starts. If you have Pineapple membership, you do not need to pay at reception.
