Ballroom dancing refers to a set of partner dances, which are enjoyed both socially and competitively around the world and refers most often to the ten dances of International Ballroom (or Standard) and International Latin.
Ballroom Dances are:
Slow Waltz - Tango - Viennese Waltz
- Foxtrot
- Quickstep
Latin-American dances are:
Cha-cha-cha - Samba -
Rumba - Paso Doble - Jive
Michael Litke runs 12 weeks and 3 weeks ballroom and latin courses at Pineapple where you can learn all these dances. Courses are divided by levels. There are beginners, intermediate, advanced and professional classes. Michael also runs workshops, private and wedding lessons.
MICHAEL LITKE
Michael Litke is a professional ballroom and Latin dancer who started dancing at an early age and excelled in all aspects of his discipline. He has been a couples coach for many years and has taught at Pineapple Dance Studios in London since 2003. Michael has supervised and choreographed numerous TV projects and is a sought after coach, teaching all levels from beginners to professional students.
