Ba Kua means 'Eight Triagrams' or 'eight changes' in English. Ba Kua is characterised by 'circle walking' where the practitioner walks in a continuous circle executing various patterns of movement and forms.

Ba Kua emphasises sinuous movement, evasion and the use of body torque to perform striking and blocking.

MAURICE PASSMAN

Maurice Passman, the principal instructor of the Rose Li School, was taught by Rose Li and has over 20 years of experience.

He was formally adopted into her martial arts family (Wu Shu Jia) in 1999, prior to her death in 2001 and was obligated to undertake sole responsibility for teaching all aspects of Nei Jai (Chinese Internal Martial Arts System) after her death. In this way, Miss Li gave Maurice her greatest gift, and one that continues to give: knowledge and understanding.

The Rose Li School is based at Pineapple.

To join in a class, you only need be ready 10 minutes before the class starts. If you have Pineapple membership, you do not need to pay at reception.
