Singing workshop with Robert Bicknell

PLEASE NOTE: CLASSES TAKE PLACE ON THE FIRST WEDNESDAY OF EACH MONTH ONLY! Audition and performance practice sessions for singers, actors and dancers are designed for professional performers who would like individual feedback on their developing work.

It’s a great opportunity for singers, actors and dancers to practise their audition and performance techniques in a twice-monthly workshop led by leading singing teacher Robert Bicknell.

Classes take the following format: warm-up techniques; singing exercises; performance exercises; song presentation (individual); feedback (Robert and group)

You will need to bring a backing CD or sheet music (for piano) with your song learnt and performance prepared. All students are welcome to record the sessions and their performance for home study.

ROBERT BICKNELL

Robert Bicknell is a singing teacher with over twenty years of experience in musical theatre, pop and television.

His celebrity clients include Natalie Imbruglia, David Ginola, Laura Paussini, Kirsty Young, Denise Welsh, Josie Lawrence, Harry Hill, Tim Vincent, Cheryl Baker, Ben Freeman, Tessa Sanderson, Billy Brag and others.

Robert's pupils regularly appear in major West End musicals and throughout the world of pop.

Robert's television appearances include Pushy Parents (Five), Faking It (Channel 4), Give Your Mate A Break (Granada), Popstars (Germany and Switzerland), This Morning (ITV), The Big Breakfast (Channel 4). He has also coached for The Lesley Garrett Show (BBC), Celebrity Stars In Their Eyes (LWT), Hidden Talents (LWT) and MTV (Germany).

Robert's work on vocal production with No Angels (Germany) and TEARS (Switzerland) has awarded him with various double-platinum and gold disks. He has also co-written songs for Tresor (Germany), Universal (Switzerland) and FM Music (Germany).
