Locking is basically American street dance and an example of the movement is used by Janet Jackson in her rhythm nation video.
Movements are sharp and precise and the class structure as well as the warm-up is similar to that of jazz class.

Jimmy Williams has been at the forefront of street locking in London for over 20 years. If you are looking to learn styles such as boogaloo, locking or popping, Jimmy is the teacher to try. With loads of charisma his classes are challenging and fun.
To join in a class, you only need be ready 10 minutes before the class starts. If you have Pineapple membership, you do not need to pay at reception.
