Aina Wethal

Aina studied contemporary dance at The Laban Centre and graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in dance theatre.

 She completed a teaching course with the British School of Yoga in 2003 and the 200 hour intensive Yoga Works teacher training course in 2008 in Norway. In July 2012 Aina qualified as a Thai Yoga Massage therapist with Mudita School of Thai Yoga Massage.

Yoga: Aina is an experienced teacher who has taught athletes recovering from injuries, dancers, pregnancy yoga to clients with chronic fatigue syndrome and stressed out politicians.
Wedding Dance: A private lesson with Aina will bring you at ease for your wedding dance. A typical lesson will consist of learning steps and easy choreography set to your music of choice. Aina will set the choreography to suit you and how you would like your first dance to be. You will be taught in a friendly and patient manner making you feel confident and comfortable when dancing with your partner. Aina has choreographed many wedding dances and helped many couples feel better about dancing together.
Thai Yoga & Pregnancy Massage Thai yoga massage is precise bodywork with a spiritual link to yoga. It is a powerful therapy for body and mind. Thai yoga massage combines acupressure with applied yoga stretches. We also use elements of reflexology, physiotherapy, meditation and Ayurveda.
The aim is to restore the body’s energy system so to free the flow of vital energy in the body. Illness and disease will firstly manifest itself on our energy level. The main emphasize of Thai yoga massage is therefore to prevent and treat the body before disease becomes physical.
Benefits – can improve posture, breathing flexibility, digestion and circulation.
Muscles are stretched, inner organs are toned, and tension is reduced.
It will benefit and help with conditions such as headaches, back pain, digestive disorders, shoulder and neck tension, joint pain, menstruation problems, insomnia and stress.
What will happen in the session?
The treatment is done on the floor on a mat/futon with the client fully dressed in comfortable clothes. I will use my palms, thumbs, elbows, knees and feet to apply a combination of acupressure, gentle rocking and twisting, joint and spine mobilization. I will also assist you in gentle yoga stretches. You will enjoy a sense of deep relaxation and peace.
