Maria is a highly-respected teacher and choreographer working on stage and screen. Her warm personality and inventive choreography inspire dancers from across the world.
Her choreography credits include BBC drama, Sky One’s ‘Got to Dance’, Opera Holland Park, Blackheath Halls and Co-Opera Co. She co-created the musical American Songbook Cinderella for the City of London festival, and has choreographed short films and music videos. She is the director of the Sixties Fosse-style dance troupe Catsuit-a-Go-Go.
In addition to her classes at Pineapple, Maria has taught for Sadler’s Wells, Cambridge University, numerous dance schools and in mainstream education. She also writes about dance for various magazine titles.
Maria teaches theatre jazz classes and lyrical contemporary dance at Pineapple.
