Pineapple’s Debbie Moore attended a reception to mark International Women’s Day at 10 Downing Street, hosted by the Prime Minister Theresa May.
She has inspired the world with her dance studio concept with a mission to provide dance for all, from absolute amateurs to advanced professionals. Her forward vision has helped to inspire a revolution in access to dance in local communities and schools.
In addition, you can enjoy your own private dance class for you and nine friends at the world-famous Pineapple Dance Studios in London. Featuring a range of classic dance shapes in a stylish capsule collection that reflects Pineapple’s pioneering work in fabric innovation as well as the flattering femininity of dance.
A selection of pieces from the core range will be available to buy in the Pineapple Store at 16 Langley Street from Saturday 6 May 2017!

In advance of the event Debbie served on the board of Project Polunin, welcoming dancers to Pineapple for rehearsals and meetings. Debbie joined friends and dancers for an evening of dance and refreshments to celebrate the launch of Project Polunin.
Every year a dazzling programme pays tribute to the wonderful traditions of the Russian ballet school and its legendary soloists who have been inspiring dancers and ballet lovers since the early nineteenth century.
The special class took place on Valentine’s Day 2017 – appropriate, as the theme for the celebration was #BalletLove.
Piano accompaniment was by Shaun Holmes, a veteran and popular class pianist at Pineapple.
The special event was priced at the 1982 price of £1.00!
All proceeds & donations from the event went to Hope House Charity.
Students joined Maggie for celebratory Free drinks after the class.

This year’s Ultimate News Quiz took place at Plaisterers’ Hall and was hosted by Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid, as quizmasters for the night, plus guest hosts Grayson Perry and auctioneer Alastair Stewart.
