Movement & Body Conditioning

A body conditioning class simply called 'Limbering'. Class starts at the barre doing leg swings of various heights then use body bends and pelvic tilts.

 

We finish at the barre with a stretch combination.

There is a pianist in class, which one needs one for changes of tempo and exhilaration.

After the barre is body placing and floorwork. Isolation is the main theme, using all parts of the body serparately and then put them together into dancing skips, hops, leaps, mazurkas and polkes, so the class builds into dance.
