This amazing 6 week course with Phil Comley at Pineapple Dance Studios is a beginner friendly introduction to Musical Theatre Dance. Each class will include a warm up, technical exercises, travelling work and a combination inspired by Musical Theatre. The course will contain aspects of Ballet, Jazz, Pilates, and Yoga. In order for students to improve throughout the course, Phil will repeat the routine for a couple of weeks.
All ages 13 years and over are welcome! Please make sure to bring dance shoes.

WHAT TO BRING
- Footwear: Please bring dance shoes.
- Comfortable clothing: For our dance classes, we encourage everyone to wear what they feel the most comfortable to move in. You can visit our Pineapple store opposite the studios and ask for advice from our staff, or can check out our online store where we have all the dance essentials you might need for your class. We have changing rooms and showers on location.
- Water bottle: It's important to stay hydrated during your classes, so make sure you bring your water bottle. We have multiple water points in the building where you can have a refill.
SCHEDULE
This Musical Theatre course for beginners is 6 weeks long, with 1 class per week on Sundays (6 classes all together). Each class is 60 minutes long and held by Phil Comley at Pineapple Dance Studios.

All courses are non-refundable* and have to be booked before their start date. The course price is inclusive of our membership fee.

ABOUT PHIL COMLEY
Phil began at The Coreen Bailey School of Dance in his hometown of Witney, Oxfordshire before training at Laine Theatre Arts. He graduated with teaching qualifications from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance.
Choreography credits include: Associate Choreographer on We Will Rock You for the original Brazilian and Danish productions and the production for Royal Caribbean International. Associate Choreographer on Ragtime at the Landor Theatre, Clapham. Previous teaching credits include Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, Guildford School of Acting, London Studio Centre, Momentum Performing Arts Agency, Associated Studios and The Centre Performing Arts.
Performance credits include: Dance Captain / Swing inWe Will Rock You at the Dominion Theatre, London. Carbucketty / Mr. Mistoffelees / Coricopat / Skimbleshanks in two UK and International tours of Cats. Swing / Eugene / Sonny in Grease at the Piccadilly Theatre, London. Ensemble in Beauty & The Beast UK tour. Swing in the original London cast of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the London Palladium. Phil was also featured in the 'Making of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' and the 'Original London Cast Recording'.
