About Francis J. Roach
Francis J. Roach has an extensive background as a producer, director, and choreographer in musical theatre. His work spans notable locations including New York City, Japan, Florida, and Italy. Recently, he recreated Luigi’s seminal works for the stage, featuring both professional and young dancers at the Manhattan Movement and Arts Center in New York. This production included iconic pieces such as "Mission Impossible" and "Over the Rainbow."
Francis's expertise and deep connection to Luigi’s methodology are highlighted in the seminal book, “Luigi’s Jazz Warm Up And Introduction to Jazz Style & Technique.” As a globe-trotting educator and choreographer, he has performed on stage and television, and his choreographic works have benefited numerous dancers. Many of his students have achieved distinguished careers, a testament to his influential teaching and artistic guidance.
