Alex is an acclaimed choreographer and teacher who started her career as a professional dancer following over 10 years of extensive training in classical ballet, jazz, lyrical, musical theatre and commercial styles.

Alex works internationally in film, television, theatre, cabaret and music videos. She has worked with many celebrated artists including Michael Jackson, Ronan Keating, Cliff Richard, Jamelia, The Cure and Eartha Kitt.

She has worked with renowned teachers including choreographer Christopher Huggins of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre; she has focused her creative skills on choreography and artistic direction within the entertainment industry. She is also passionate about sharing the knowledge she has gleaned from these diverse dance experiences in her classes.

Alex has been teaching popular classes at Pineapple Studios for over 17 years and also runs her own dance school in central London.

She has an extensive knowledge in all disciplines, bringing energy, style and passion to her students. She is known for her inspiring and challenging classes, helping students improve their technique, performance skills and learn from her knowledge of the dance industry.

Alex’s individual attention to positioning and the wide range of popular music throughout, creates a atmospheric environment to work hard in and get results!

Alex is keen to give personal corrections and tips to help the development of each dancer, and her jazz will challenge and inspire students in a range of commercial, lyrical and musical theatre styles.
