Theatre Jazz & Show Dance Teacher
Ashley is a Freelance Theatre Jazz Choreographer. Recent credits include the UK premiere of Disney's Newsies, D Day Darlings Concert at the Union Chapel & Strictly Come Dancing's It Takes Two.
Ashley performed in West End Musical Theatre for over 10 years & has worked with some of the great pioneers of Theatre Jazz.
Ashley’s SHOWDANCE class is a musical theatre jazz class for every advanced/professional dancer. He uses exciting Broadway/West End music repertoire, with the style varying weekly to challenge the dancer’s versatility.
His class is a safe, positive and encouraging environment for individuals to take risks and explore.
Ashley begins with a technical warm up lasting half an hour and then a full hour on a theatrical routine wearing appropriate heeled character/show shoes.
The genre of choreography will alter from week to week to challenge the dancers.
