Hannah Frost
Ballet
Hannah trained at The Urdang Academy, Covent Garden and went on to work with the ballet companies of the Stadttheater Bremerhaven and Theater Vorpommern Greifswald. She performed on the Jedermann stage at the Salzburg Festival with the New English Orchestra and toured Spain and England, dancing in new neoclassical and contemporary works. She then worked as a freelance dancer with various choreographers including Milo Miles and Celia Grannum.
Hannah started her teaching career with floor barre and then continued to teach all levels of ballet. She specialises in teaching beginners of all ages and is passionate about building correct, safe technique from day one. She enjoys seeing what students gain from ballet which goes beyond the steps, such as learning a new skill, being part of a community and building confidence as well as improved posture, fitness and well being. Hannah's classes are very popular and she is known for her 'eagle eye' and no nonsense approach.
Having been through two foot surgeries herself, Hannah has a special interest in rehabilitation from injury. She has practised Pilates and floor barre herself for many years and is a qualified Progressing Ballet Technique teacher as well as massage therapist.
