James Berkery is teaching Jazz classes at Pineapple Dance Studios for General Levels.

Originally from Tipperary, Ireland and now based from London James is choreographer and movement director working in film, TV, music videos, and theatre.

An expert in designing and coordinating complex dance sequences as well as 1-1 movement coaching working with individuals of all abilities drawing from a wealth of experience in a variety of dance styles.

James was the movement director on the feature film Censor, starring Niamh Algar (Hulu), a choreographer for the M3GAN feature film premiere, choreographer of the BAFTA-nominated 'toni_with_an_i' (BFI/BBC), choreography for THE FRATELLIS comeback Global Top 5 Album 'In Your Own Sweet Time' and resident choreographer on STING’s USA tour of 'The Last Ship'.

James' directorial debut, CAZELEON was a finalist for the 2023 Iris Micro Short Award and officially selected at the BAFTA-qualifying Iris Prize LGBTQ+ Film Festival.

James is also a certified yoga teacher, a current member of One Dance UK, Movement Directors Association, and an ambassador to Dancer's Career Development.
