Yoga / Pilates

Yoga and Pilates are either a series of poses or small repititive exercises designed to stretch and strengthen the body.

To join in a class, you only need be ready 10 minutes before the class starts. You have to be a member of Pineapple to take classes, the cost of the class is additional and payable directly to the teacher. All our classes are open, so you do not need to book, just come along anytime to take a class.

Yoga / Pilates Classes

    • Core Stretch

      Stretching is important for people of all ages! As we age, our muscles tighten and we have less range of motion in our joints. Simple activities that we once took for granted, can all become difficult. A regular stretching program can help lengthen your muscles and make these daily activities easier and more enjoyable.

    • Dynamic Flow Yoga

      Dynamic flow yoga takes inspiration from the heat building in Ashtanga and the attention to alignment in lyengar.

    • Pilates

      Learn the basics of all dance and fitness regimes. Pilates for beginners and improvers is a mind-body system which will help you change your movement and posture in dance and everyday life.

    • Pilates-based Fitness

      In this hour and a half, learn the Pilates based exercises which will help you perform better in a dance or fitness class.

    • Stretch and Tone

      Stretch and Tone is a body conditioning class that prepares the body to dance. Building strength and increasing flexibility in a safe and balanced way.

    • Vinyasa Flow Yoga

      A dynamic and flowing practice, linking the rhythm of the breath with movement. The class will focus on breath, balancing the body and creating a deep internal heat that will energize, detoxify and uplift you.

    • Yoga for Creatives

      Jess’ classes are a warm, welcoming and encouraging environment. Expect a functional class including strength, flexibility, meditation, mantra and deep relaxation. All levels welcome.


    • Aina Wethal

      Aina studied contemporary dance at The Laban Centre and graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in dance theatre. She completed a teaching course with the British School of Yoga in 2003 and the 200 hour intensive Yoga Works teacher training course in 2008 in Norway.

      Ben is a contemporary trained Dancer graduating from Newcastle's Performance Academy, and Ben worked extensively in Germany as a freelance Contemporary dancer and Performance artist.

      Carly trained as a dancer at The Arts Educational School, Tring Park. She has performed around the world and is currently based in England where she is still auditioning, training and teaching. Carly teaches Core Stretch and Zumba at Pineapple.
